Bio

Birutė Jocaitė Šliurpienė is a Lithuanian abstract artist whose work draws on the memory of earth, organic surroundings, shifting seasons, and the stillness of nature - all held within the feeling of homeland. Working with a self-invented layered acrylic technique, she creates exclusive multiple depths with earth-toned textures, giving each painting a sense of quiet movement and immersive presence.

Birutė Studio is a space where painting becomes a bridge between people and the environments they live in. Since its founding, her work has been exhibited internationally, including in Paris, Madrid, and Milan, and is held in private collections across Europe.

For Birutė, painting is an act of returning to nature, to self, and to the places we call home. Each artwork carries a subtle emotional resonance, inviting the viewer to pause and remember their inner world – what feels close, meaningful, and truly important.

For acquisitions, commissions, or artwork rentals, she welcomes personal enquiries or studio visits.
