Hello, my name is Birutė, welcome to my online studio.

I founded BIRUTE STUDIO from a very personal place: a desire to create abstract paintings that don’t just exist within a space, but truly belong to it. For me, it is incredibly important how each work will live in its new environment, how it will feel in the light, how it will interact with the room, and what kind of presence it will quietly hold over time.

Each painting is created with you and your space in mind. They are not only visual objects, but emotional ones, meant to bring a certain feeling into a space. Sometimes it’s calm, sometimes softness, sometimes a sense of grounding. For some, they may hold memories, associations, or small personal stories that unfold over time.

Working within minimalist abstraction, I explore earthy tones, muted palettes, and a layered acrylic technique that builds subtle texture and depth. These surfaces gently respond to light, allowing the work to shift and evolve throughout the day. Every abstract is created to integrate, to bring balance, harmony, and a quiet, refined atmosphere.

Since 2021, my works have been exhibited internationally, including in Paris, Madrid, Vilnius, and Milan. Today, they live in private homes across Europe, becoming lasting elements of thoughtfully designed interiors. While exhibitions are an important part of my journey, I find the greatest meaning in knowing my work is truly lived with, in someone’s home, as part of their everyday life.
